This morning, I woke up to a text from Amy.
“Have you seen the top 100 sex bloggers list yet missy? Xxx”
“Not yet, just woke up. 
Looking now…”
“I think you’ll be pretty happy! Xxxx”
I rolled over in bed and grabbed my laptop off my desk. Let’s see… Between My Sheets… Top 100 Sex Bloggers…
“Oh. My. God.” said my next text to Amy. I imagined I made the list. I imagined she told me I would be happy because I was in the top fifty or, at best, top fifteen. But I never, ever imagined I would be #1.
I almost cried. When I started this blog, I never realized I would become a part of this amazing community – these people who are gorgeous writers and sex gods/goddesses and now my friends. I can think of scores of bloggers I would have put before myself to be #1 and I’m only discovering more of them as I go through this list. I feel honored, and shocked, and I just pray that all these talented people – on and off the list – keep writing and sharing their lives/opinions with us.
Oh, and a special thank you to the judges who put in all the hard work to read and score each blog. That’s a miraculous feat considering how many people are on here, and I applaud you guys for the effort (and for thinking I’m good enough to be the first on the list! =D!).

I agree about how welcoming the sexblogging community is. Whatever our tastes, topics, personalities, we applaud each other. Wonderful.
It’s one of the things I never expected. I’ve gotten quite close to so many bloggers, despite not knowing their real names or who they really are. It’s been sort of a treat to be welcomed in and sometimes I still sit back and feel incredibly lucky just to be able to read the blogs, not to mention interact with their authors. =D
